EAA 186 YOUNG EAGLES AIR ACADEMY AWARD APPLICATION

Each year, the EAA Chapter 186 Board of Directors provides funding for young people to attend Air Academy Camp at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Because of the success of our Young Eagles program, this year we are offering paid camperships for two youths, ages 16 to 19, to attend the Advanced Air Academy, August 8-14. Each award covers tuition and lodging costs, but does not include airfare or transportation.

The EAA Advanced Air Academy / SportAir Camp provides an opportunity for students to become totally immersed in the world of flight with the main emphasis on aircraft construction, primarily composite and fabric techniques. Ground instruction and introductory recreation flight experiences highlight this meaningful, action-packed camp. It combines “in-the-air” and “on-the-ground” hands-on activities.
