NEW! EAA Young Eagles Build and Fly Program

Our EAA chapter, in conjunction with the Young Eagles program is going to build a radio controlled airplane, with the assistance of Young Eagles, that we plan to complete and fly in the late spring or early summer. They will be involved with the building, covering, installation of the power system and radio. After that they will be involved in flight testing and flying the model.

In addition we will have a Radio Controlled flight simulator where the Young Eagles can learn the skill to fly a radio controlled plane. Plus we will conduct ground schools on flying in general. Sessions will be one Saturday a month for 3 to 4 hours.

Young Eagles, ages 12 through 17, who are are interested in getting hands on experience building and flying a radio controlled airplane are welcome to be a part of this program.
