Project Hangar Available!
Looking for space to do the final assembly of your aircraft
project? To promote the building aspect of EAA, the Chapter has
available to its members a project hangar for this purpose. The project
hangar is located next to the Chapter House at the Manassas Regional
Airport. This hangar can be rented at a reduced rate for the final
assembly of your aircraft; i.e., the final 3 months of assembly and
test flights. In addition, when the project hangar is empty, you can
rent the space on a daily basis to get out of the weather to work on
your aircraft. To rent the space or get on the waiting list for this
hangar, please email Tim Lewis, or call him at 703-396-8621.
Directions to Manassas Regional Airport and Chapter House:
From I-66, take Exit 44, Route 234 South (the bypass, NOT the
business exit), then exit at 28 North, turn right on Godwin, right on
Gateway, at the DMV. Cross the railroad tracks and make the first
right. Follow the road to the end and turn left. From I-95 take the
Prince William Parkway to Route 234. Take 234 north and exit on Route
28 North towards Manassas. Then directions as from I-66. Park in the
parking lot near the tower and enter the hangar area through the gate
on the south end of the parking lot. The Chapter House is in the first
row of hangars inside the gate, closest to the flight line. If you
don't know the gate combination, please contact a Chapter officer. Weather Cancellations:
In case of inclement weather, the General or Business meeting may
be cancelled. It will be cancelled if Prince William County Schools are
closed. You may listen to the message on the Chapter House telephone
for cancellation information (703-365-8764).
