Fly the EAA B-17, the Aluminum Overcast!

B17_BL_07EAA is offering historic flight experiences in its beautifully restored B-17G Flying Fortress “Aluminum Overcast.” One of only 13 Fortresses still flying, this aircraft is an icon of the Allied strategic bombing effort that helped turn the tide of battle in World War II. Unlike reading a history book, you can actually fly a mission back in time and feel the might of this magnificent machine, just as those brave young men did more than 60 years ago.

Join us for an unforgettable experience aboard EAA’s B-17 Aluminum Overcast! Watch history come alive by climbing aboard the 65,000-lb. B-17 bomber and step back in time to the World War II era. Stand in the footsteps of the bombardier, the navigator, and the waist gunner and relive history by experiencing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly in one of World War II’s most vital and magnificent aircraft.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not pre-booking 2016 B-17 flights until later this year. Stayed tuned for more information!
